Fundraiser

We’re hiring a Fundraiser.

  • LOCATION: This is a hybrid role, with a requirement to travel to our regional offices and other parts of the UK. Our regional offices are in Bedford, Birmingham and Nottingham. 

  • HOURS: This is a full time role of 37.5 hours a week. Part-time or flexible working will be considered.

  • SALARY: £30,334 to £33,386 pro rata, depending on experience, plus 5% pension contribution.

  • CONTRACT: Fixed-term, 12 months, with the possibility of extension or conversion to a permanent position, subject to business needs, funding and individual performance.

 

Context:

Welcome Churches is the largest organisation in the UK Church helping the Church engage with the increasingly pressing topic of refugees.  We equip and support churches as they welcome refugees and people seeking asylum in their communities. Together, we work towards our vision to ensure that no refugee is alone.  

We are at a key time in our growth, having completed a review of our strategic plan. Now we are hiring a fundraiser to help us to set and achieve our fundraising goals. The right person will have a real hand in shaping how Welcome Churches grows: developing the fundraising culture in our team, and helping us to demonstrate the powerful impact of our work to churches, funders, and individuals. 

We are an experienced team, and we are happy to consider applicants at the early stages of their fundraising career, as well as more experienced candidates.  Part-time or flexible working will be considered.
