Make Welcome Churches your church Mission Partner!

God is shaking up the UK Church – there is a challenge before us.  As displacement and migration patterns bring people from all over the world and a huge diversity of cultures to the UK, we believe that the opportunity for mission is right on your doorstep! Now is the time to respond and grow in our understanding of mission and of Biblical welcome.

Please consider setting up a regular donation or taking a collection for Welcome Churches as part of your giving to mission.

We mobilise and equip churches across the UK to respond to the Biblical mandate to welcome the stranger; our mission is for no refugee arriving in the UK to be alone. By financially supporting Welcome Churches monthly or annually, you help us see the UK Church equipped to welcome, and give refugees and people seeking asylum the opportunity to experience the love and community of God’s people.

This is the new face of world mission.
Welcome Churches has a multicultural team made up of numerous nationalities with 11 languages spoken by various team members and over 50 years of combined cross-cultural missions experience. This enables us to develop culturally appropriate, trauma-aware and relevant training and resources that we can share with you, the UK Church, as you explore the real needs of mission on your doorstep.

Next Steps to being a Mission Partner church

To be a Mission Partner of Welcome Churches, your church will support us either on a monthly basis, or give a commitment to an annual gift to us. You will then receive a confirmation from us and will be able to receive termly updates for Mission Partners on the work of Welcome Churches, including prayer topics and short videos and powerpoints that you can use to pray for us and to keep your church informed of the impact of your support. Please arrange to speak with a member of our team if you would like further information.

Please consider partnering with us as we seek to see every refugee in the UK welcomed, and make the UK Church renowned for its provision of support and community to refugees and people seeking asylum.

If your church is not yet part of the Welcome Network, join today to access resources that will help support your local work with refugees. Check out our events page for the latest training opportunities and follow us on social media to keep up with all that is happening.
