As the UK government continues to negotiate with France to try to stop asylum seekers crossing the Channel, many seeking sanctuary are becoming increasingly vulnerable to exploitation and danger.

At this upcoming Refugee Prayer Hour, we will gather to pray together for people making these dangerous journeys, for an end to people smuggling and exploitation, and for wisdom and compassion among those responding to the changing situation. We will also pray for safe and legal routes to the UK, so that people fleeing war, persecution and danger do not have to risk their lives in the English Channel in order to seek safety.
