To My Church, With Love and Prayer
Mokadar’s Story
“There are three things I feel compelled to share with Weymouth Baptist Church (WBC, the church that welcomed and supported me when I was staying onboard Bibby Stockholm) here:
First, the meaning of a family guided by God’s hand is something I utterly understood in WBC with my whole being, in the depths of my soul.
Second, it was a place where we prayed for one another. My most treasured memory is when I prayed in my native language, and everyone, with pure hearts and unified voices, responded with a resounding ‘Amen.’ That moment was sacred and unforgettable for me.
Third, there is no need to speak of your warm welcome and graciousness, for what is evident needs no words. Also know this, my brother: my mind, thoughts, and heart are always there in Weymouth. I believe that one day, I will return to Weymouth with my family by my side. I pray to Jesus Christ for health, joy, and grace to be upon all you kind-hearted people of WBC, Amen.”
